FATAL SNAKE BITE.
TALLANGATTA, Monday The only son of Mrs. Vogel, of Tintaldra, six years of age, was playing about with bare feet in the schoolground when he was bitten by a snake. He said nothlng to the teacher who, however some time after noticced the boy's appearance and questioned and examined him. The teacher scarified the punctures on the foot and rendered first aid. A doctor who was summoned from Corryong motored out, continued
the treatment and took the little sufferer under his personal supervision. However, the little boy died.
