J. sNewman, the rot,Irln,g secretary, in re- cognition of her 14 yoars of serVlce; to Miss G Allen, .who has resigned her position as treasurer in order to travel abroad; to Miss Simpson, wbo recently.left after three years' service as assistant secretary; and to Mrs. H..G. Hedley, who Is also going abroad. In each "case eulogistic references were made to the way In which each of the- guests of honour had carried our her respective

duties.

Miss F. Sulman presided, and during the evening .gave an Interesting account of her trip round-the world, illustrated by photo- graphs and examples' of craftwork collected abroad.
