"THE PIONEERS,"
At the Lyceum and Haymarket theatres to-day, a new Australian picture is to be released by Austra- lasian Films, Ltd. Its title is "The Pioneers," and it has settings taken in various parts of the State,
including the timber country of the North Coast. Raymond Longford directed. The plot has been taken from a novel by Katherine Susannah Pritchard, which recently won Hodder.and Stoughton's £6000 prize. The second picture is "The Midshipman," a tale of the United States Navy, featuring Ramon Navarro and Wesley Harry. The Big Four enter on a second week of songs at the Haymarket: while at the Lyceum patrons will see Nell and Braddy Shaw.
