WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS.

-« .. ,

Perhaps tho best indication of the popu- larity achieved by the Westminster Glee Singers during their performances in Sydney was the largo attendance at the Town Hall last night on the occasion of their farewell concert. That the artists have achieved an unusual degree of familiarity with the Sydney musical lovers was evidenced by the prolonged applause which greeted each and every individual performer. The company, under the direction of Mr. Edward Brans combe, sang in pnrts the "Village Black- smith," "A-Huntlng Wo Will Go," and "In England, Merrlo England." Many of the lead- ers lu the choir gave individually several well-known vocal numbers, and were accorded excellent ovations. In response to tho in- sistent demands of a delighted audience, the singers appeared en masso soveral times, whon the Items on the programme had been concluded.
