CAR DRIVES ON.
--- A motor car knocked down and killed a woman late last night
Shortly after 10 o'clock Mrs Ada Nowitzki, aged 5l years, was returning from a picture
show to her home at 55 Myrtle-street, city. With her were her husband and a friend, and, as the party was crossing from Wattle-street to Abercrombie-street, a car knocked Mrs. Nowitzki down, and then went on without slack- ening speed. She sustained terrible in- juries, and when the Civil Ambulance took her to Sydney Hospital, life was pronounced
extinct.
The police are searching for the car.
