THE ÏÏNIYËRSITY STUDENTS' DAT OUT. *
Our University undergraduates are strong believers in the saying that all work and no play makes boys dull, and so once a year . tbey leave the "studious University" and go
out to play. They satirise public men, they sneer at public works, they make fun of burn- ing public questions, and even write doggerel about their professors; and they make a pub- lic demonstration in the streets, sitting in all
sorts ot vehicles,. decorated with calico signs
hearing the strangest devices. Our illustra- > tion shows portion of the students' procession on Saturday. Incidentally, It pictures tne con- gestion of traffic on our trams.
