FUNERAL.
The funeral of the tato Leonard Hoffman, which moved from the resi dence of bis mother on Satin day morn ing last, was attended by a number of relatives and friends. Numerous let ters of sympathy and floral tributes were received. The pall-bearer* at the bouse and graveside were nephews of the deceased, Messrs. N. and J* M'oneki, J. MeGlinchy, and D. Whclan. The Rev. Father O'Rourke held a short
service at the house, and oniejated nt the graveside. Ia the obituary notice appearing in Saturday's issue the names of his brother, Frank, and sis ter, Mary, were inadvertently omitted. The funeral of the late James Mc Carthy moved from St. Marys' Church yesterday afternoon, and was followed by a number of relatives and friends. The late Mr. McCarthy arrived in Queensland, about, 40 years ago, ^nd bad'bcpn emi ployed in the railway service for tiie greater portion of this time. 'The de ceased leaves a wife, 'two sons, Chiarlio and Steve, two daughters, Eileen and Vera, and one sister, Mrs. Shcehy, to uiourn their sad loss. Numerous wrpatbg and immortelles were received by the bereaved family.
