MRS. ADA M. CRAIN
The death occurred recently at Peter sham on her 84th birthday of Mrs. Ada MatUda Crain, an old identity of Ade long. She was born at Daylesford, Vic toria, and was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Betheras. With her pererfts and family she resided In Ade-; long for many years, where she married Mr. John Thomas Crain\ who prede ceased her 34 years ago. The late Mrs. Crain is survived by the following chil dren; Harold (Mosman), Jessie (Mrs. nav. niabo). Elvina (Mrs. French,
Goulburn), Florence (Mrs. Todd, Peter sham), Stanley and Alex (Petersham) and Stephen Leslie (Dulwich Hill). Seven children predeceased. Bert was killed in World War No. 1 and William died as the result of injuries from a fall from a horse at Emmaville. De ceased was the last member of the Beth eras family of eight children. After a service at her home the mor tal remains were interred in the Meth odist portion of the Rookwood Cemetery, llev. Gentle officiated at the graveside.
