Inquest on the Late Mr. H. A, Young.

Yesterday afternoon, the Coroner (Mr. 6. F, Scott, P.M.), held an inquiry into the eauae-.of the death of tho late Mr. Henry Arthur Young, solicitor, whioh Bad event was recorded in last night's isBUe. The evideuoe of Dr. Liddell was taken at the Courthouse, WoBt Maitland, and that of Mrs. Young and Senior eonatable Dunshea at tho residence of the luto Mr.

Young. Dr. Frank Liddell, duly qualified medical praotitioner, of West Maitland, said ho saw tho body of deceased about 3 p.m. that afternoon. When he arrived life was extin'ot. From wh«t WAB told bim by Mrs. Young and othora, aud from examination of tho body, ho formed the opinion that tho cause of death was syncope, or failure of the heart's action, nnd chronic bronchitis. Mrs, Sarab Young, wife of deceased, said hnr husband had been ailing for tbo Inst five weeks .with bronchitis. Ho had. boen in bed nearly tbo whole time, bnt got up yeBtorday (Monday) about 11 o'clock. He wished to sit upon a chair, out said he waB too stiff to movo. His son Arthur was assisting him to tbe chair, whon ho fell ontheflior, and said ' I'm gono.' Witness put his head on her lap. Deceased only bronthed a couple of times afterwards. Dr. Liddell wna sent for, and came, but her husband was dead when tho doctor arrived. Bpnior-Coni-tablo DuoBlioa Baid decoased's little girl camo to bis plaoe, on tbe opposite aido of tbe road, about twenty minutes past fiwo yesterday, and said her motbor wanted him; He went to tho house, 'and saw doceased lying on tbo floor of the front sitting room, with his head on Mre. Young's lap.. He triod to give deceased somo brandy, but bo seemed quit* dead. He afterwards, with assistance, placed deceased on tho bed. He knew .deceased had beon ill, and tho late Mr. Yonng had told wit noss Bomo time ago that ha suffered vory much from bronobitis, particularly in the -winter months. The Coroner found that docoBBed had died from natural oausos, to wit, synoope of tho hoart and bronchitis. The funeral of the late Mr. Young took plnoo this afternoon.
