Brigidine Convent Schools.
The coucert and distribution of prizes at the break-up for the Xtnas holidays of the Sacred Heart and St Joseph's Con J vent schools took place last evening and met with the success that always at tends the function. Owing to the late ness of the hour at which the proceed" ings closed we are compelled to hold over a full report till next issue. Fol lowing are the prize lists:—

Besides the successes mentioned on the prize lists, jjianj' others have been gained during 1914 by the pupils re ceiving tuition 'from the Sisters of St Brigid, Rochester. The subjacts are the most varied, and the marks obtained prove amply—once more—the value and high quality of the tuition given. The results of the bookkeeping and short hand examinations are particularly good, some students gaining the maxi mum number of marks (100). The music results—both practical and theo retical—display the usual excellence. Singing- and the other arts are also well represented. Local prizes were also ob tained for art and educational work during 1914, as well as a very favorable
criticism on all work shown by the. Sisters of St. Brigid at the Education Exhibition held in Melbourne during Januarv and February, 1914. The court of exhibits shown by the Brigidine Nuns was, in fact, accorded the highest praise. Appended is a list of successful students aud the results obtained by them during
