SMITHFIELD, PROSPECT.
FOURTH FAIR, to take place on TUES DAY, the 2nd August, and Weekly Markets
on FRIDAY, regularly.
No charge for the use of the Paddocks, nor
standing in the Sale Yards.
The good prices (considering the times) ob tained for Cattle and Sheep at the previous sales ought to convince the Public of the vast advantage they derive by sending their Stock
regularly to Smithfield where such extensive ??ocks are provided for their reception and ??? in the event of not being sold ; add to the daily sacrifices made of stock in Sydney, its vicinity, where there are no Paddocks to
over the Stock, where being once brought must be sold for any price. Will the Stock holders continue to support the monopoly they loudly complain of, when Smithfield at once affords them the best and only remedy for the evil?

BEGS to inform the gentry and inhabitants

Mr. E. proposes introducing an entirely new method of stopping decayed teeth with his
NEW PREPARATION OF GOLD,
which from its durability surpasses all other metal. This is applied without giving the slightest pain, prevents further decay, renders extraction unnecessary, and removes that unpleasant odour in the breath invariably accompanying decayed
teeth.
Mr. E. likewise supplies deficiencies of teeth in a very superior style, and in every case re- storing perfect articulation and mastication.
Loose teeth fastened, whether arising from neglect, the use of calomel, or disease of the
gums.
Mr. E. extracts all kinds of stumps with the greatest facility, also effectually cures the most acute and complicated diseases appertaining to
Dental Surgery.
At home from Ten, a. m., till Four, p. m.
On Mondays and Saturdays, from nine to twelve, Mr. Emanuel will prescribe for the needy gratis.
Residence—Wyatt's Buildings, Castlereagh- street North._7868
MR. THOMAS BRENNAND begs to inform his friends and the public,
that he has resumed his license as an Auctioneer, and that he intends carrying on the business of an AUCTIONEER, HOUSE AND LAND AGENT, and SWORN APPRIAISER; and as his long experience in that capacity, now upwards of twelve years, gives him a knowledge of the value of land and stock of every description, he confidently hopes to receive a fair share of public patronage.
Mr. Brennand being convinced of the many inconveniences the far-distant settler is put to, in endeavouring to obtain a remunerating price for his stock, in being obliged to make tedious, uncertain, and expensive journeys to the metro- polis, often in the vain hope of obtaining a sale for his property, and in not a few instances obliged to call a sale by auction, under unfavour- able circumstances, the consequence of which must be a ruinous sacrifice. To remedy these evils, Mr. Brennand will open a Registry of all properties entrusted to him for sale. This regis- try will merely show the district in which such property is situated, whether it be houses, land, or live stock, and will be open to the in- spection of such persons as may be desirous of renting or purchasing, thereby affording an op- portunity of bringing the buyer and seller to- gether, of such property as is intended for public or private sale. It is unnecessary indeed to en- large on the usefulness of such an establishment, it must be obvious to all persons remote from Sydney, as it will enable them, while they are attending to their flocks and herds at home, to have their agent in Sydney, whose business is to procure the earliest and most profitable sale.
But it is necessary here to premise, that all communications from the country on this sub- ject, if through the post, must be post paid, and addressed, Post Office, Sydney, where all com- munications will be received till suitable Rooms are engaged, of which due notice will be given.

TREMENDOUS SACRIFICE!
AT VICTORIA HOUSE,
OPPOSITE THE HAYMARKET.
To Commence Soiling off at 2 o'clock. MESSRS. WILSON, COSER, AND
HENDERSON, having purchased of the Trustees, the BANKRUPT STOCK of N. S. Dismore, they will open the above pre-
mises opposite the Haymarket, for the express purpose of clearing off the whole in four days, in preference to bringing it to their Establish- ment, Trafalgar House, George-street, as they intend to open that establishment with an ex- tensile and entire new and choice selected stock of every article belonging to the trade. 1414
TRAFALGAR HOUSE GEORGE-
STREET.
(NEARLY OPPOSITE THE POST OFFICE. )
WILSON, COSER, and HENDERSON,
take this opportunity of informing their friends and the Sydney public, that it is their intention THIS DAY, (Saturday, the 30th in- stant,) to OPEN the above ESTABLISHMENT, with an entirely new and extensive Stock of Drapery, Hosiery, Haberdashery, Slops, &c., &c., purchased with that regard to the general wants of Customers, which the long experience in the Trade of each of the Partners could supply. In the conduct of this Establishment the Pro- prietors feel assured of obtaining a large share of public favour and patronage, as the Business will be conducted by themselves personally, and from their practital knowledge of its details ac- quired by a long experience in the first Estab- lishments of the City, they request only a single visit, on which to test their capability, and they are confident as to the result. Having imported a large amount of goods, purchased at home under their direction, by parties on whose judg- ment and ability they have the fullest reliance, they will also be enabled to sell at prices unpre- cedented for moderation in the Australasian Colonies. Their principle of business will be to sell a good article at a reasonable price, and they are convinced that this system, combined with attention and civility, in the selling depart- ment, so important and desirable in this line of business, together with an extended Colonial experience in it, will in the long-run ensure
them general support.
They therefore confidently invite their friends, and the inhabitants of Sydney generally, to honour them by a visit to
TRAFALGAR HOUSE,
to inspect their stock, and to judge for them- selves whether the professions they have made
arc exaggerated or untrue.
