bow here. De Luxe Annie is a dramati sation of a mystery story by Scammon Lockwood, which won attention in the Saturday Evening Post. Edward Clark, in preparing it for the stage, has addea new scenes, incidents and characters, and a succession of thrills, suspense and un expected climaxes are promised. Miss Emelie Polini, who plays the title role, has a big reputation in New York, where she has been playing leading roles for the past five years, and in conjunction with Holbrook Blinn, played several oi the famous Grand Guignol dramas. She is equally famous in England, where sho has interpreted most of the leading female characters in dramatic successes of the past ten years. The other new comers figuring in the cast are Miss Georgia Harvey and Mr. Harmon Lee. The final performance of Aladdin takes place on Thursday next at the Palace, the last matinee will be given on Wed nesday. Come Inside is to be the title of a new show with which Sydney James will re appear at The Playhouse early in August. It will be a production of the revue order, with close upon 100 supernumer aries. In it will be introduced to this city Miss Ira Love, a soprano of exceptional talent. The company will include many Ti,«ur nrincinnls.
