McPHEE.—On the 11th March, at the Alexandra
Hospital, Hobart, the wife of J. C. McPhee— a daughter.
MARRIAGES.
JOB—CHERRY.—On the 17th February, 1912, at
the Presbyterian Manse, Abbotsford, by the Rev. W. M. McKay Alexander, Norman Geo. Living- stone, son of James Job, of Bendigo, and the late Mrs. Job, of Parkville, to Emeline Florence, youngest daughter of the late James Cherry, of "Brooklyn," Geelong-road, and Mrs. Cherry, of Richmond.
DEATHS.
COWIE.—On the 31st March, at his residence,
"Elsa," Donald-street, Prahran, John Robert, the dearly beloved husband of Isabella, and lov-
ing father of Elsie and Will; also, loved brother
of Mrs. J. Arthur, and son of the late Hon. James Cowie, of Geelong, aged 64 years.

CROCKETT.—On the 27th March, on board s.s.
Marmora, John T. Crockett, brother of Mrs. J. N. Leckie, Power-street, Hawthorn, and late of Southland, New Zealand, aged 73 years. A Colonist of 55 years. Southland papers please copy. (By cable.)
ERREY.—On the 31st March, at Leura Nursery,
Camperdown, William Henry, dearly beloved husband of Hannah Errey, aged 73 years.
FORD.—On the 1st April, at his residence, Lara,
John, the dearly-beloved husband of Hannah Ford, aged 79 years. A colonist of 48 years.
GERRARD.—On the 30th March, at Smythesdale,
John Gerrard, late of Samaria, aged 55 years.
INGWERSEN.—On the 31st March, at her resi-
dence, 320 Nicholson-street, Fitzroy, Sophie Caro- line Ingwersen, dearly beloved mother of Mr. F. Lander, Mrs. T. Billing, Mrs. U. Wagner, William, Henry, Hugo, Adolph, and Rudolph Ingwersen, in her 73rd year. Colonist of 50
years.
