THE LOCUST PLAGUE.

HORSHAM, SUNDAY.
The locust or grasshopper plague has reached here, the air all day having been thick with countless myriads travelling north to south. Towards the evening they cleared off. They have now been all through the district, and must certainly do some damage, though the crops are in an advanced state.
SANDHURST, SUNDAY.
The locust plague made its appearance in Sandhurst this afternoon. In some parts of the city they appeared in dense clouds.
