DARWIN, Thursday. - Another group of Gurindji tribesmen and their families have walked off a cattle sta tion to join the land-claim protest assembly at Wattie
The tribe is assembled at Wattie Creek in protest against the Government's de cision not to grant it about eight square miles in the area it claims is tribal ground.
Nine stockmen with 11 women and children walked
off 'Camfield' station adjoin ing 'Wave Hill' without giv ing reasons, but they were seen heading for Wattie Creek.
The Gurindjis have so far rejected a Government offer to build them a settlement and later a township on Crown land four miles from Wattie Creek.
