Changes in RAAF posts
Changes in higher ap pointments of the RAAF and a number of air rank
promotions were announced in Canberra yesterday by the Minister for Air, Mr Howson.
Air Vice Marshal W. I llelv, who was the Air Member for Personnel at Department of Air, Can berra, will retire on August 24, and will be succeeded by Air Vice Marshal C. 13. Candy, now Air Officer Commanding, Support Command. Melbourne.

Headlam, now Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, De partment of Air, will be ap pointed to Support Com mand to siiccecd Air Vice Marshal Candy.
Air Commodore B._ A. fialon, now Director-Cien cral of Operational Require ments at Department of Air, will become Deputy Chief or the Air Staff and he granted the acting rank of Air Vice Marshal.
