Probate has been. granted of the will of the late Mrs. JBmiHe Ellis (the atrically known as Miss Emilie Pol ini), who died some months ago, leaving an estate of the nett value of £5,070. Testatrix, who appointed

the Perpetual Trustee Co., Ltd.. her executors and trustees, made specific bequests to her mother, sister, and other relatives in England, and £50 to Mrs. Grace Cannon, of Sophia Street, Bondi. She left the residue of her estate . to her daughter, Pat ricia Marie Ellis, conditionally on the child being in the custody of her sis ter, Mrs. Marie Nares, and the lat ter's husband, who reside in England. If the child were not given into their custody, £1000 was to be set aside for her, and the interest allowed to accumulate until she attained the age oi 24 years — the residue of the es tntc, testatrix left to two nephews in England.
