    The Hopgood Family History.
    Samuel (1798-1854) and Eliza Ann (1810-1890) Hopgood arrived in Australia in 1849 from England. Their son Samuel, his wife Maria and their children arrived about that time also. The families settled as farmers in Geelong and areas west of Melbourne.
