I need some help please on printing articles that I have found, but when I click on my printer I don't get the full article as it appears in the newspaper, only the item going down the left side of the page.
Thanks-Trish

Have you checked the help?

This will divide the article up into columns - to see a preview, click on 'JPG' or 'PDF' first.

Thank you Mark.

I usually enlarge the item to 66%, then go <PRINT> and select "PDF Creator" (it is free) and "print" it to a PDF. In this way you have a PDF of the item and you can store it or print it (or just a page) as you wish.
G'day Bruce,
There is no need to use an external program, such as "PDF Creator", as there is a 'PDF' button at the top left of every article view. This will produce a PDF, which you can save or print, with the size determined by the zoom level you have chosen at the bottom right of the article view screen. This has the added bonus that the Newspaper name, date and page number are embedded at the top of the article, and the unique article identifier number is embedded at the bottom of the first page.
If you are on the 'View entire page' screen (button at top right of article view screen) then you have two PDF options: 1) a PDF of the whole page with the unique page identifier number; or 2) a PDF of the entire issue with every page in the newspaper.
In the article view screen you also have the option to produce a JPG image of the newspaper article (using 'JPG' button), and the size again is dependent on the zoom level you choose at the bottom right of the article view screen. This will produce a series of JPG images, any of which you can individually choose to save (by right-clicking on image and saving). This is particularly useful if you only want part of a much larger article, or section of the newspaper - e.g. if you want a copy of just one advertisement in a very long advertising section.
Then there is the 'TXT' button which opens up a window with the text from the 'translated text' box (including corrections if corrected), which you can then copy into a word processor or whatever you choose to do with it.
So, all the tools you need for saving articles are right there in Trove.
Regards,
Spearth
