Alberta Deering/Carter/Hook/Heather/Alexander - one women - lots of surnames!
Hi, was wondering if anyone could assist me as I keep hitting brick walls in relation to this family member. I have the actual 1891 marriage cert to Adrian Hook stating that she was a spinster from Surry Hills NSW and her name is listed as Alberta Evelyn DEERING. (NSW BDM online info has typographical errors in relation to spelling of names...they are looking into correcting same.)
To throw in some confusion, I also have the actual death cert of Adrian Hook (also 1891) stating that her name is Alberta CARTER.
I then have two Sobroan entrance records (training ship) (in relation to Adrian Oswald Hook aka Arthur who is the son of Adrian and Alberta) and BDM records showing that she remarried firstly to Thomas Heather (1900) and then to Edward Alexander (1903), however this time she called herself BERTHA.
My trail goes cold about this time. I'd like to know if she had anymore children other than Adrian Oswald Hook and when she died. She kind of disappeared off the radar. I can also find no birth cert or death cert. I have searched SMH and ancestry.com.au.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This could be her death from the NSW bdm's - 13334/1936 ALEXANDER BERTHA EVELYN RICHARD MALVINA CHATSWOOD
Also there appears to be a son born to her and Edward ALEXANDER - 27642/1905 ALEXANDER HAROLD L EDWARD BERTHA E ST LEONARDS
This is her funeral notice - http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article17259114

Thanks Julie, I'm back on track now. Yes that is her death notice. The inconsistent spelling of names threw me off course. Alberta was never her name, it was always Bertha (an error in the records) and Deering was in fact Dearing. Thank you for your time!
