Season's greetings from the Trove team
Merry Christmas all!
As much as we love working on Trove, sometimes we have to take a break, step away from our computers, and talk to our families. Like most of the National Library staff we'll be on holidays from 25 December to 1 January. During this time we won't be able to respond to your inquiries. Technical support will also limited, so if there are problems it might take a little longer than usual to get them fixed.
Rest assured we'll be back on 2 January, ready for another year of Trove excitement -- building towards our 5th birthday celebrations on 30 November 2014 (put it in your diary now).
Trove will be accessible throughout the holiday period of course, so you'll still be able to slip away from those annoying relatives for a quiet spot of text correcting. And while the Trove Twitter account will be subdued, our bot friends -- TroveNewsBot and TroveXmasBot -- will continue to tweet away with random offerings from the newspapers zone.
As the year draws to a close you might also like to share with us your most exciting Trove discoveries for 2013. When we return we'll be gathering all your contributions and awarding a few beautiful Trove mugs.
If you're visiting Canberra over Christmas, come and see the Mapping Our World exhibition, open every day except Christmas Day -- bookings essential! Here are the full details of the Library's opening hours over the holiday period.
See you in the new year!
Your Trove Support Team
